Saw David Tennant and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing at Wyndham's Theatre last night.

Quite early on in Her Fearful Symmetry, the new novel by Audrey Niffenegger (of The Time Traveller's Wife fame), there was a scene where the protagonists watch an episode of Doctor Who - more specifically, The Girl in the Fireplace. My friend is Doctor Who resistant. She's seen bits here and there (both old and new) and has firmly gotten it into her head that she doesn't like it, and she thinks pictures of David Tennant are ugly, and is just generally not keen on watching the show even though I think she'll like it. Quick logistics question for Doctor Who.

Went to a drag cabaret with the work social club yesterday. It was entertaining, though less than I thought. I thought it would be, you know, more of a cabaret and slightly less of lip syncing to pop songs + dancing. But it was still a decent night out so I shan't complain.
